7pm - 9pm EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME

There are a number of stitches that Casapinka (and Sharon From Security!) either make up or love to use in their shawls. Everything from marling, to the Thorn Stitch, a creative picot bindoff, made up decorative decreases, to stitches that favor variegated yarns. There will be examples of finished knits with these and we will go through these stitches one at a time as you make a sample swatch to increase your confidence when knitting them. 

Materials

• 24” US 6 (sharp – such as Chia-goo) circular needle (or whatever size you typically use for shawls)
• 20 yards of fingering weight yarn in a lighter tonal/solid
• 20 yards of fingering weight yarn in a speckled or variegated if you like. 
• 6 stitch markers that open and close
