Multi-talented Adele Abide drew our iconic sheep logo, whom we’ve named Gladys, but she’s got so many other strings to her bow. Adele was born in the Mississippi Delta, then her dreams led her to study fashion at the Rhode Island School of Design. She moved to the BIG CITY – New York, of course and began as an assistant designer at Maggy London in the blouse and petite dress department. Within a few years she stretched her wings and began her own Adele Abide dress line, selling to Barneys, Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus. Busy Adele had a side-gig as an art consultant for Museum Editions and purchased original art for the Chambers Hotel in New York City. This was the beginning of an eye-opening journey into the world of furniture and interior design. Adele found time to marry her architect husband, Josh Pulver, have three children and move to the Hudson Valley. She has clients all over the place and loves to help them create beautiful, interesting homes. Adele LOVES lots of things – drawing, antiques, cooking, and tending her dahlias - and we know you’ll love Adele.
