Katie Kortman is a painter, sewist, fabric designer, teacher and dancing queen. She creates abstract paintings which she turns into fabric, sews into a fabulous clothes, and then dances in them around her living room (as seen on Instagram @katiekortmanart) . She has taught classes about Wardrobe Color Theory, Fabric Painting, and is a former high school art teacher. Her ebook "Wear Happy Color: A Guide to a Colorful Wardrobe" teaches people how to pair colors together and wear them fearlessly. Her fabrics can be found online with Spoonflower, Fabric.com (coming soon), and Nerida Hansen. She currently lives in Japan with her husband and 4 children.
